The Diamond H Quarter Horses breeding program is centered around the bloodlines that the AQHA was built upon.  Our horses trace directly to the first 5000 horses listed in the AQHA Stud Books. It is our belief that the animals that are termed as "Foundation" are the true examples in conformation, intelligence, athletic ability, disposition, and cow-sense, representing what a true "Quarter Horse" should be.

Below are  names of some of the Famous Foundation Sires and Dams that our horses are descended from.  Click on the names of the horses to go to a "History Page" telling about them, and the valuable contributions each has made to the Quarter Horse breed.
